All churches are growing phenomenally, but there are also many Muslim Background Believers. All these many believers is one reason why Muslims are so upset, but there are many other reasons as well.<br />Adrian Hellemanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12611563345804489187noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5222065172626712190.post-49556644532786524472012-11-06T11:29:12.050-05:002012-11-06T11:29:12.050-05:00Adrian, I am sure you must know Ruth Veltkamp. We ...Adrian, I am sure you must know Ruth Veltkamp. We are blessed to have her in Grand Rapids at this time. She has preached for us at Church of the Servant on the Beatitude, "Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake...." She reports very encouraging testimony about what is happening when persecuted Christians (including Muslim Background Believers) return good for evil--forgive and pray for their persecutors. She reports that most often the persecutors then become followers of Jesus. She reports there are now many congregations of Muslim Background Believers in Northern Nigeria, including a former leader of Boko Haram. Jesus said we must be prepared to take up our cross and follow him. Ruth's testimony has called me to be more Christlike in my response to every kind of offense.Nola Opperwall Galluchnoreply@blogger.com
